Quick, easy cooking just got quicker and easier with the Sharp R86STM ![]()
London, 07 May 2008 – Sharp has launched the feature-rich R86STM combination microwave oven with new quick and easy menu shortcut keys to make life in the kitchen simple.
Powerful double grill
The R86STM is a 26Ltr capacity, 900W, combination microwave with all the multi-functional features of microwave, convection oven and unique double grill - top 1200W and bottom 650W – to cook items efficiently from above and below - no more soggy pizza bases.
The easy to clean stainless steel interior has a 325 mm metal cooking dish for food to sit inside, with the bottom grill operating from beneath. The top grill can also be used alone with a metal stand for perfect browning/crisping results.
Cooking options to keep it simple
Today’s microwave users need their product to perform the simplest of tasks. Sharp has added quick and easy cooking option keys alongside some helpful shortcuts, including easy risotto, take-away re-heat, melted butter and reheat soup. A special oven fresh programme option by simply adding a bowl of fresh water and lemon removes any nasty odours.
Sharp has also introduced Express Cook and Defrost options. Six simple programmed menus satisfy the users roasting needs from chilled or frozen for lamb, beef, chicken and pork. Four key defrost menus encompass meat joints, minced meat, chicken breasts and whole chicken. Simply choose the relevant option, enter the weight and start!
New auto cook menus
Making life in the kitchen easier doesn’t stop here. Sharp has added some new Auto Cook programme menus from chilled or frozen for ready meals, oven chips and crispy coated food. Speed and ease is also at the fingertips for healthy menu options such as grilled chicken breast, fresh or dry pasta and rice, as well as baked potatoes.
