Following its relocation to Stockley Park in West London, Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd has announced the creation of a dedicated Commercial AV team, specifically designed to meet the needs of business customers looking for audio/visual or digital signage solutions.
Heading up the new Commercial AV department is divisional manager, Iain Hunter, who will oversee the team consisting of sales, marketing, product management and pre- and post-technical sales support.
The Sharp Commercial AV team will work with key partners to evaluate, design and install bespoke solutions for businesses such as hotels, pubs, clubs, sporting establishments, retail venues, conference and hospitality venues, as well as educational establishments – and any organisation requiring digital signage for internal or external communications, advertising or broadcasting.
Sharp’s portfolio of AV products includes LCD displays ranging from 20” to 65” and a comprehensive range of high performance data/video projectors suitable for business applications.
Peter Unsworth, Commercial AV product manager, said, “Our extensive range of LCD displays, from the stunning 65” LC-65GD1E to the more compact 20” and 26” models are all built to exceptional quality standards. Business customers can be assured of excellent picture quality and reliability, as well as cutting-edge design and future-proofed technology. This is all backed up by outstanding service and support from a dedicated team of Sharp specialists.”
Sharp itself has recently installed a number of AV products within its new UK headquarters in Stockley Park, near Heathrow, to facilitate internal communications between management and employees. Several 45” LCD digital signage screens have been located in strategic positions within the building, including the staff café and main office areas, which broadcast news, company and industry information, updated in real-time. 65” LCD displays have also been installed in the company’s main visitor reception, atrium area and boardroom, and projectors have been ceiling-mounted in all meeting rooms.
