Sharp UK, one of the world s leading manufacturers of LCD, has introduced two new camcorders to its successful ViewCam range aimed at point and shoot video user. A F1.4 lens and 320,000 pixel CCD for good quality images, which can be improved still further with a number of facilities. Low Lux recording at a minimum of 0.8 Lux which enables viewing in a dimly lit room.
Both units have the facility to display a user-friendly menu on screen making operation straightforward. They also sport a title writer which gives the user the option of captioning footage, under for example holiday or birthday, making the VL-A111H and Hi-8 VL-AH131H ideal for family use.
The ViewCams come with a lithium ion battery pack which supplies 95 minutes of continuous recording time. Other bundled accessories include the AC adapter, shoulder strap, A/V cable and lens cap.
